5-star luxury riverside hotel in Bangkok with two Michelin-starred dining

Hotel Overview

Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok was the first five-star hotel built on the Chao Phraya River. The property houses Le Normandie, a two-Michelin-starred restaurant by Alain Roux. A free shuttle boat service connects guests directly to the BTS skytrain and ICONSIAM shopping mall.

Dining & Entertainment

Le Normandie holds two Michelin stars under chef Alain Roux, offering French fine dining. The Bamboo Bar serves cocktails and live jazz in a setting that has attracted writers and travelers for decades. Breakfast is served riverside at The Verandah with a buffet of Asian and Western options.

Wellness & Recreation

The Oriental Spa occupies a historic building across the river, accessible by the hotel's private boat. Guests can join daily yoga classes, use the state-of-the-art fitness center, or play tennis on the hotel's court. A full range of spa treatments includes body scrubs, wraps, and massages in private treatment rooms.

Rooms & Services

Each floor has a dedicated butler who attends to guest needs, from unpacking to organizing laundry. The 319 rooms offer river or city views through floor-to-ceiling windows. A fully equipped Business Centre and event space for up to 600 guests support corporate travelers.

Location & Family Amenities

The free shuttle boat stops at Saphan Taksin BTS station and ICONSIAM, placing the Grand Palace and Bangkok Art and Culture Centre within easy reach. A kids' club, babysitting services, and a children's pool make the hotel family-friendly. Cooking classes and walking tours offer cultural activities for all ages.
